Hi Aspirant! Depending upon your field, the minimum qualifying marks differs. Also, every year, there is a different set of marks.
However, the basic qualifying criteria is that you have to achieve a minimum of 40% in both the papers of the exam. Then a separate list is prepared where the top 6% students are declared as students who have qualified the NET.
Also, once you qualify the UGC-NET, you will get a stipend each month that will cover your PhD fees in the government as well as private colleges.
