Hello, University of petroleum and energy studies is mainly known for their petroleum upstream branch and if you are interested towards the computer side then Computer science with specialization in computing and virtualization is the best choice. You can also opt for gas, cs with cyber security, cs with artificial intelligence.

These is too many streams in that college, but among them CSE is the top branch in that college. The average package of CSE is goes upto 4-5 lakhs & highest package 29 lakhs. It depends on the calibre of students how they performed. Many top companies like - flipkart, cisco, tcs, dell, hp, Microsoft, amazon do visit the campus.
Almost all CIT students get placed before 8th semester but it's hard to get good packages for non CIT students, some of them they are not placed even.
Academics, environment etc all are good but the fees structure is high for the college.
