Hello,

Entrance test for admission to MA Integrated Social Science in University of Hyderabad will be conducted for 100 marks in MCQs format.

It has four section as mentioned below:

Part A consists of Social Studies and General Awareness
Part B consists of Language and Comprehension
Part C consists of Reasoning Ability
Part D consists of Quantitative Aptitude

Each section has 25 questions, each question carrying one mark.

First of all, there's no detailed syllabus provided for each section, when it comes to reasoning section you can prepare for topics such as Alphanumeric Series,Coding Decoding,Blood Relations,Ranking/Direction/Alphabet Test,Syllogism,Puzzle etc.

The best books for reasoning sections are  MK Pandey's Analytical Reasoning, or RK Agarwal Verbal and Nonverbal Reasoning.

Even if you don't have these books, there are various competitive exams sites where you'll find plenty of practice papers for reasoning section, it's better first you develop conceptual understanding of these topics and later on proceed towards practice. You can search the Internet or even watch YouTube videos for this.

You should go through previous year paper for which the link is provided below, it will make you acquaint with paper pattern, level of questions, topics and other relevant details for preparation of entrance test.
