up scholarship for diploma, it is necessary to open bank account in the same district in which we get college

Hello,

It depends on the college/ university. Each one of them have different norms and guidelines and some may ask you to have to bank account of any specific bank and in some colleges they are okay with any account of any bank. So, you will get the information regarding this matter from the respective college.

no it is not important you just need to have a account and its pass book to apply as in the document list they just as for the photo copy of front page of the bank account.

all you need to do is just make all the document clear and maintain the account so that scholarship gets transferred easily without hassle
