CET is a state level exam, whereas NEET is a national-level exam, the difficulty of NEET exam is more than CET exam. NEET exam is taken to get admission into a medical college. CET is conducted in different ways such a s KCET, MH CET which are conducted by state givernments. CET exam is taken to get admission into dental and engineering courses but not engineering. NEET exam pattern consists of 180 questions, 45 questions each from botany, zoology, physics and chemistry. Each question carries 4 marks and for wrong answer, 1 mark is deducted.
Various states conduct the paper differently, for example consider the state of Maharastra, it conducts MHCET, the exam pattern consists of 3 question papers of three 4 subjects, 1st paper contains maths, 2nd paper contains physics and chemistry and final paper contains botany and zoology.
You can check out the official websites for dates of exams.
