According to the eligibility criteria laid down for BHU to pursue the LLB course, there is no upper age limit as per the Supreme court's decision in 2017. Hence you will be eligibile to apply for this course in BHU irrespective of your age. You need to fulfil all the other specified criteria. You can use the link below for any other details.

The age of the candidate should not be above 22 years as of 1st July, 2019. There is a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit for SC/ST and three years relaxation for OBC.

BHU UET Eligibility Criteria 2019 – Banaras Hindu University has announced the BHU UET 2019 Eligibility Criteria on February 10, 2019 along with the release of official notification of BHU UET 2019 and BHU UET 2019 Application Form. The university has released separate eligibility criteria of BU UET 2019 for different courses under the undergraduate programmes. The BHU UET 2019 Eligibility Criteria mentions age limit, academic qualifications, minimum marks and other requirements. Candidates are required to thoroughly go through the eligibility criteria for BHU UET 2019 listed below for the concerned subjects. Candidates are needed to compulsorily fulfil all the eligibility requirements to be deemed suitable for admissions to BHU UET programmes.
Important instructions
- Candidates who are still in the final year of their qualifying examinations are allowed to appear for BHU UET 2019. However, candidates will be required to produce the original marksheet of the qualifying examination with minimum eligibility requirements at the time of BHU UET 2019 provisional admission and counselling. If the candidate is unable to produce so, he/she will be admitted conditionally to the programme applied for if:
- he/she takes an undertaking that he will produce the original marksheet along with the minimum eligibility requirements by 31 October 2019.
- it is evident from the candidate’s marksheets of previous examinations related to the course of qualifying exams that the candidate has secured at least 50% in previous exams (This will not be necessary for the SC/ST categories).
- If the candidate fails to produce the marksheet by the stipulated date, his conditional admission to the university will be cancelled with no refund of the conditional admission fee.
- If the candidate’s qualifying exam marksheet does not mention the equivalent percentage of grade points, the candidates will have to avail a Certificate of conversion from the concerned institution mentioning either the converted percentage or the formula of conversion from grade points to number.
- In case a grade sheet itself mentions the converted percentage, or the formula of conversion, the candidate will have to get the photocopies of both the sides of degree/grade sheet which shows the equivalent percentage/conversion formula.
- Only those degrees and certificates recognized by the Association of Indian Universities will be considered equivalent degrees/certificates.
- The Distance Education Council of IGNOU will be the sole authority deciding the validity of the degrees/certificates of distance education. Candidates pursuing distance education will be provisionally permitted to appear for the exams but will have to compulsorily submit the Distance Education Council of IGNOU approved certificates.
- The 10+2 courses of Madrasas recognized by Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, will be accepted by BHU for BHU UET 2019.
- BHU UET 2019 Application Forms submitted by fraudulent means will be rejected by the university and barred from subsequent entrance tests conducted by Banaras Hindu University.
- The applicants will have to compulsorily match all the BHU UET Eligibility Criteria 2019. Even if an ineligible candidate is mistakenly allowed to appear for the entrance exams, he/she shall not be considered eligible for BHU UET 2019 Admissions and nor his attempting the entrance would stand to his defence.
- Candidates can apply for multiple programmes, provided he is eligible for each of them, and the entrance tests are on different dates.
- Any candidate admitted to the university will not be allowed to simultaneously pursue any other course from BHU/other universities.
