In order to become IAS officer you have to complete your graduation first after passing your higher secondary examination.
Then you will have to crack Civil service examination conducted by UPSC.
UPSC takes three examination for civil services.
Preliminary examination
Mains examination
Personal Interview
A candidate is called for personal interview or personality test only if he/she clears the first two tests.

The basic eligibility criteria for civil services examination conducted by UPSC are as follows:
- You must have a bachelor's degree or be in final year of graduation in any discipline from a recognised university
- The minimum age limit is 21 years.
- The maximum age limit is 32 years. There is provision for relaxation for reserved categories.

Hello student UPSC Conduct UPSC CSE every year for the recruitment of candidates for various government Posts like IAS, IPS, IFS and various central government services.
The UPSC CSE examination is comprises in three stages prelims, mains and interviews.
Eligibility - Candidates must passed or appearing graduation degree in any stream from a recognized board.
Age limit - 21-32 year old for General Category
Languages - English Hindi
Applications Fee - Rs 100
Mode of examination - Offline
Mode of counseling - offline
UPSC prelims examination will be objective type while mains examination are descriptive type.
UPSC 2021 prelims examination is scheduled on June 27 and mains examination are scheduled from 17*22 September 2021.
