UPSC syllabus for civil service examination has basically three parts. Prelims mains and interview. Here is the the subject syllabus of prelims paper 1
- Current affairs of national and international affair
- history of India
- Indian and world geography
- Indian polity political system Panchayat Raj right issues
- economic and social development poverty inclusion etc
- general science
- ecology biodiversity climate change
For paper 2
- comprehension
- Interpersonal skills
- logical reasoning
- decision making
- General mental ability
- basic numeracy of class 10 level.
