Geography of India and the World - Physical, Social, and Economic Geography of India and the World.
Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, and Other Aspects of Indian Politics and Governance
Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, and Other Aspects of Economic and Social Development
Environmental Ecology, Biodiversity, and Climate Change are all general topics that do not require subject specialty. Science in general
Paper-II UPSC Prelims Syllabus 2021 (CSAT)
The CSAT (General Studies-II) is a qualifying exam. To qualify for this paper, you must score 33 percent or 66 points. The following is the UPSC Prelims Syllabus for the CSAT paper:
Comprehension
Communication skills; logical reasoning and analytical abilities; interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and decision-making
Mental ability in general
Numeracy fundamentals (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (at the Class X level), Interpretation of the data (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. - Class X level)
