Regd. with Ministry of HRD (CR) & Planning Commission, Govt. of India. Recognized by Govt. of NCT of Delhi, IAO, USA & IADL, UK.

Urdu Education Board (UEB) (http://www.ueb.ac.in/public-notice-urdu-education-board.html) , (http://www.ueb.ac.in/public-notice-urdu-education-board.html) has been discussed in Parliament (http://www.ueb.ac.in/public-notice-urdu-education-board.html) (http://www.ueb.ac.in/public-notice-urdu-education-board.html) and it was accepted by Shri Upendra Kushwaha, Minister of State, Ministry of HRD in the written reply in the Rajya Sabha on 09.02.2017 that National Commission for Minority Education Institution, a Statutory Body under the Act of Parliament has certified UEB as Minority Education Institution for promotion of Education in the Community and accepted that the Ministry of HRD has written letters to some Educational organization to facilitate admission to the pass out students of UEB. UEB has been established by an Act XXI of 1860 of Govt. of India (Societies Registration Act). It is a Minority Educational Institution formed under Article 29 & 30 of Constitution of India for promoting Urdu education across the country. The prime objective of the Board is to extend help and support to the students of the Muslim Minority community and the weaker section of the society with the especial emphasis on girls education. Urdu Education Board is an autonomous body which is established for development of education under the guidelines of National Education Policy 1986, and Program  of Action 1992, Government of India. Urdu Education Board is also recognized by Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

The board also fulfills the aims of vocational and educational right of Indian constitution 1950 under Article 14, 15, 19 (1), 21, 26, 29, 30, 45 and 46.
