(x+a) (x+b) = x2 ( square of x) +(a+b)x+ab
Now put a=2, b=3 ,x=5 in this identity
L.H.S (x+a) (x+b) = (5+2) (5+3)
= (7) (8)
= 56
R.H.S= square of x + (a+b) x + ab
= square of 5 + ( 2+3) 5 + 2×3
=5×5 + (5)5 +6
= 25+25+6
= 50+6
=56
Hence L.H.S = R.H.S
So identity is verified
