Hi

Yes, admission in BVSc i. e veterinary is through NEET entrance examination. But Neet is mandatory for bvsc only for all India quota seats offered through aipvt counselling , for state quota seats it is not mandatory and thus you can get admission in bvsc even without Neet

The re are some States which conduct their their own state level entrance examination for admission in BVSc

For example,

  • Rajasthan conducts its own  state level entrance examination for providing admission in bvsc i. e   RPVT   i. e Rajasthan University of Veterinary Sciences  . It is conducted by Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences , Bikaner. And through this examination, admission in 312 BVSc seats is provided across Rajasthan. You can get the complete details by visiting our page for which link is provided below

Similarly,

  • In UP there is   UP Veterinary Entrance Exam , which is conducted by DUVASU   . For details, regarding BVSc, visit its official website :- https://upvetuniv.edu.in/

  • In AP, there is AP EAMCET . You can refer to its official website at https://sche.ap.gov.in/EAMCET/EamcetHomePages/Courses.aspx

†††††IMPORTANT NOTE:-

The above state level entrance examinations are conducted for 85% state quota seats only while 15 % all india quota veterinary seats i. e BVSc seats,  is on the basis of Neet examination only through aipvt counselling.

Thank you
