There's definitely scope for veterinarian studies, regardless of one's gender. The field of study you're passionate about is the one for you. It doesn't matter if you're a male, a female or a non-binary person, you're eligible to apply for veterinarian studies.
In India, it you wish to become a veterinary, there's a certain career path that you need to follow:-
Firstly, you should complete your 10+2 with physics, chemistry and biology as your core subjects. For admission to a bachelor's degree, there's multiple entrance exams that you can appear for, namely:
- All India Pre veterinary Test
- MHTCET
- All India common entrance exam
- GUJCET
- KEAM (for Kerala)
Based in your score in these examinations, you can get an admission into a veterinary school (pertaining to the specific state in case of CET exams)
After your entrance exam, you can apply for BVSc (bachelor's in veterinarian Sciences) which is 5 years in duration including a 6 month internship.
