In private medical colleges there are Government seats and private seats. In some colleges seats are also reserved for NRI candidates.
And, admission to the private medical colleges is done through the state counselling. All the eligible candidates who have qualified the NEET UG entrance exam can apply for admission through the state counselling of the state in which the college is located. For Government quota seats, the candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria of the state in which the college is located can apply and candidates from other states can also apply for management quota seats in most of the private colleges.
