For getting a good job, one needs to expand one's skills and gain expertise in the relevant domain, for example to be a good programmer, one should have good enough command in programming languages such as C, C++,Java, NET etc, for working in networking domain, one must be good in LINUX, SQL in addition to having certifications in CCNA, CCNP helps a lot.
