Hello,

I live in Assam and I am familiar with Nagaon. In Nagaon, people have limited options of higher education as it is a small town however it has potential. People in Nagaon mainly go for Arts or if they pursue Science, they leave for better options like Assam Engineering College or Guwahati Medical College, etc for medical aspirants. So you have to first target those students who have studied in reputed places like GMC, SMC ,etc. in Doctorate alumni who were from Nagaon and then pitch your idea of opening a college. If you manage to convince them, then you would definitely benefit. Remember that they can be having high paying medical jobs so your reason has to be solid enough. Most ideally go for recently passed out students. If this is not possible then you need to find professors who may teach part time. Students would come only if college provides hope of earning good money and establishing oneself in society so make sure you deliver that promise. Thank you!
