Hello,

The National Standard Examination in Physics (NSEP) was indeed conducted in 2020-21, but with some changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) conducted NSEP 2020-21 online, and the exam was held on January 17, 2021. The exam was typically held in November, but it was postponed due to the pandemic.

hope this helps,

Thank you

Hello Dushyant,

The National Standard Examination in Physics (NSEP) was conducted in the 2020-21 academic year, but it faced significant disruptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The exam, originally scheduled for November 2020, was postponed. Eventually, the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) conducted the NSEP and other national standard exams in early 2021, with strict safety protocols in place. However, the pandemic led to delays in both the exam and subsequent stages, such as the Indian National Physics Olympiad (INPhO), and affected participation levels. Despite challenges, the selection process for the Physics Olympiad continued.

Hope it helps !
