NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
The NEET cut off varies from year to year, state to state and as well as college to college. It also depends on the Quota you are applying through as well as the Category of Admission. Government and Private Colleges have cut-offs of their own.
Assuming you are applying through the 15% All India Quota under ST Category for a Government Medical College, the cut-off for NEET 2017 was as follows:-
Opening Rank: 224
Closing Rank: 62,604
These ranks corresponds to a score range of approximately 400-620 marks out of 720.
This year, as competition gets tougher every year, the expected cut offs are much higher for seats in a good Government Medical College.
However, if you have domecile for the state, you can apply through 85% state Quota, for which your chances will be higher through ST Quota.
All the very Best!
You may get a seat in MBBS/BDS using your State Quota in your state.
Good luck to you!
