The government medical college which is located in Hanuman Nagar, Ajni Rd, Medical Chowk, Ajni, Nagpur, Maharashtra 440003 provides internship, generally in Maharashtra, for 1 year and stipend paid varies a lot but it is around 10000 rs per month. But students gets to learn a lot even if stipend is not that good, the learning experience is great and worth it. The initial 1 year is an internship programme.

Government medical colleges in Maharashtra hi e about 50,000 to 55,000 pm. to PG students. Deemed universities provide 40,000 to 45,000 pm and private colleges provide 18,000 to 22,000 pm to medical PG students pursuing MD, MS, DNB courses.
