According to the report of "The Times of India" This year(2021) total 92,695 candidates applied for WB JEE exam.
Out of these total number 60% are homestate students of West Bengal while 40% were from other states.
If we relate it with last year(2020) then the number of students appearing this year has been increased as last year only 88,800 students applied for it whereas 73,298 appeared for the exam finally.
By scoring a good rank in WBJEE exam, student get admission in various college of West Bengal in field of engineering, architecture and pharmacy seats.
