WBjee is on May 26, 2019. Question paper includes maths and then physics and chemistry  (combined).75 questions are from maths and 50 from chemistry and then 50 questions from physics.



Questions are asked in 3 categories :-



category 1:-



Only one option is correct

• 1 mark will be given for each correct answer
• Any incorrect answer will yield -¼ (25% negative) marks.
• for any   combination of response with more than one option the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -¼ marks  .
• Leaving question unanswered will fetch 0 mark.

2nd category :-

• Only one option is correct
• 2 marks is be awarded for each correct answer
• 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• marking more than one answer option in the OMR sheet will be treated as incorrect answer, which means 0.5 mark will be deducted.
• leaving any question unanswered will fetch 0 (zero) mark.

Category 3:-

• One or more options can be correct
• 2 marks will be awarded if all correct choices are  selected.
• any combination of correct and wrong response is treated as incorrect and will yield 0 (zero) mark.
• For a partially correct response, marks awarded  = 2 X (no. of correct options marked + total no. of correct options)
• not attempting the question will fetch 0 (zero) mark.

WBJEE exam takes place in offline mode. Candidate have to appear in paper 1(mathematics) and paper 2 (physics & chemistry) for taking admission in engineering.You can check detail here

Wbjee consist of two papers one of paper contains mathematics of 100 marks and other paper contains physics and chemistry of each 50 marks, total paper is of 200 marks.one mark will be awarded for correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answer.
