The result for the WBJEE entrance exam will be announced online. The score that you will get gives you an idea of rank and further gives you an idea of which college you might get.
The marking scheme for the exam is divided into different categories.
In category 1 - there will be 30 questions each from chemistry and physics carrying one mark each.  Mathematics section will have 50 questions of one mark each
Category 2 - there will be 5 questions each from physics and chemistry carrying 2 marks each. Mathematics section will have 15 questions of 2 marks each.
Category 3 - there will be 5 questions each from physics and chemistry carrying 2 marks each. Mathematics section will have 10 questions of 2 marks each.
