Hi there,

Following are the eligibility criteria for different exams. These are:

  • WBJEE - West Bengal JEE, eligibility criteria is- A candidate must be an Indian citizen and must be of at least 17 years old on 31 December,2022 or was born before 31 December, 2004. There is no such upper limit criteria in wbjee. Also the candidate must have passed class 12th with a minimum of 60% marks in mathematics and a total of 75% from a recognised board of India.
  • MHCET - The eligibility criteria is also similar in this. A candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognised board of India. Mathematics and Physics are the compulsory subjects. In this there is no upper limit for age but the candidate should be of 17 years.
  • COMEDK -  In this, a candidate must have an aggregate score of at least 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry for general category student whereas 45% aggregated marks for SC/ST/OBC category students along with 50% marks in class 12th from a recognised board of India. Diploma candidate are also eligible to participate in COMEDK examination but they should have 50% marks in their respective course.

The eligibility criteria for WBJEE are :-

  • Candidates should have qualified Physics and Mathematics along with any one of the following - Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Computer Application as compulsory subjects in the qualifying examination.


    • General category candidates should have scored an aggregate of 45% in the three compulsory subjects in 10+2th (or equivalent) examination.

    • Reserved category candidates should have secured an aggregate of 40% marks.

    • Should have also qualified English with minimum 30% marks.


For COMEDK :-

Candidate must have Mathematics and Physics in the qualifying examination. Chemistry is the third mandatory subject, which can be substituted by BioTechnology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics.

Candidate should have scored minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (40% for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC categories) and should also have passed in the subjects individually.


FOR Mht Cet :-


General category candidates must have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in 12th and Candidates from SC / ST / OBC category should have secured 45%.
