We are from Andhrapradesh. My fasther working in a pvt company in Pune from Last 15 years. I did my SSC in pune and doing HSC in pune. Do i need domicile certificate to get admission in to MHCET?
Hello student,
It is not compulsory to have a domicile certificate for admission via MHTCET and DTE counselling. However, its required if you need to have the advantage of the different category of admission provided by the council. As you have done your 10th and 12th boards from Maharashtra, you will mostly lie in category B. However, for that, any of your parent must have a domicile certificate. Or else, you will lie in the quota of outside of Maharashtra during admission and your admission cutoffs will vary accordingly
I hope this helps, All the Best!
Today my father went to Tehsil office to enquire Domicile certificate. Strange, they are asking to provide the Property tax from 2005 (that means you should own a house in Pune from 2005).
Don't know what to do.
The documents they asked are (apart from important documents)
1. Index 2 (2005)
2. Tax receipt 15 years (They said they are property tax, not IT
For further information and enquiry, you can directly contact the DTE counselling official numbers which are available on their websites
