Hey,

You cannot appear for the NEET Exam in the Class 11. Only candidates who have passed their class 12 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects can appear for the exam. Further, candidates who are presently in class 12 are also eligible for the NEET(National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). The detailed eligibility criteria for the NEET is mentioned below:

  • Candidates who have passed their class 12 with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology(45% for PWD, 40% for OBC/SC/ST) from a recognized board are eligible.
  • Candidates must have completed their 17 years as of December 31 of the respective year in which he/she is appearing for NEET.
  • Class 12 appearing students are also eligible.
  • There is no restrictions on upper age for NEET and there is no limit on attempts too.
