Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 506 marks   you hold  a very good chance to get a seat in  GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGE

For example,
in neet  2019, 384 marks for sc category got a seat in   COOCHBEHAR GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL   under west Bengal State quota

You also have chances in following Government Medical Colleges
*Bankura Sammilani Medical College, Bankura
*Burdwan Medical College, Burdwan
*Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata

And more

To get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

Thankyou

506 in Neet is quite a good score. You know that the cutoffs change every year so it is quite difficult to predict. Now going by last year's data, with this score, you can expect Bankura Sammilani Medical College, Burdwan Medical College, Calcutta National Medical College, College of Medicine and Sagar Dutta Medical college, ESIC Medical College Joka, Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Malda Medical College, North Bengal Medical College, Midnapore Medical College, NRA Medical College, RG Kar Medical college etc under SC category in state quota except Medical College Kolkata which had the cutoff score of 523 last year. You can check the cutoffs here http://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-west-bengal Almost all the colleges are achievable with this rank. But keep in mind these are based on Previous year data and this year it might change. So I would suggest you to use neet college Predictor tool to know where you have good chances http://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hey dear, cutoff varies every year  if you see the last year's cutoff which went very high that even students getting 500 marks were unable to get a good govt. Mbbs college. Since you belong to sc category and your marks are also above 500, so i can say that you have very good chances for mbbs under state quota, just stay tuned to the counselling.
