Yeah! If you want to take admission in BTech Metallurgical and Materials Engineering then you have to qualify 10+2. Now if there are institutes which allows lateral entry then if you have a diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering then also you can take admission in that college based on the lateral entry test. For this you need to have diploma. If you have done diploma after 10 then also you are eligible. So you have to find the applicability based on your case.
