First of all the eligibility criteria for three year LLB program is passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 45% marks and in case of reserved category it's 40%. Universities like DU and BHU require minimum 50% marks while universities like Kurukshetra, Rohtak, Meerut requires only 45% marks in graduation,
Admission may be based on the merit of the qualifying examination such in case of TNDALU, or it can be done through entrance test conducted as follows-

- CUET PG conducted for admission of various central universities,
- BVP CET conducted by Bharathi Vidyapeeth Law College,
- LAT conducted by Allahabad University,
