what about admission in new 5(five) medical college in rajasthan
The Medical Council of India (MCI) has given approval for establishment of five government medical colleges in Rajasthan, revealed chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Friday.
She was in Kota to attend the foundation laying ceremony of the ₹400-crore Bharat Vikas Institute of Medical Sciences and Cancer Hospital (BVIMSCH) of Bharat Vikas Parishad.
Raje said it is a matter of “great” pleasure that the MCI has accorded its nod to five of the eight proposed government medical colleges in Rajasthan announced in the previous budget. The new medical colleges will be set up in Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Churu, Dungarpur and Pali districts, she added. She said that a medical college each in Barmer and Sikar districts would also be constructed soon, whereas the foundation laying of the Government Medical College in Dholpur was done recently.
Raje said that there are eight major medical colleges each in the public and private sectors in Rajasthan, and the Bharat Vikas Parishad’s proposed BVIMSCH would further increase the tally of such medical colleges in the state. BVIMSCH will provide advanced health facilities to the patients of Rajasthan and border districts of Madhya Pradesh, she added.
