Komal Molane Virologists are usually functional in research institutions and organizations. You can be a professors in academic institutions or universities,
Even government agencies like CSIR, colleges, or healthcare organizations, medicals or hospitals. Many scientists prefer to divide their career in between research and teaching. So you will have to check out in maharashtra.
Salary can vary first and former you need experience. With experience you salary will increase exponentially. Like if you are a associate professor in college you will get a pay of 2-3 lakhs ofcourse it will increase with time and with Research you will cross 3 lakhs and all. But starting salary can be less also it's baseon what you study also
