What about campus interview in Amirta Coimbatore campus. Is it necessary to have a cgpa above 9 to be selected for the interview?

Hello Keerthnpraba,
The CGPA a student needs to sit in all the companies visiting the UPES campus is around 8 out of 10( 80 percent).
Exceptions are some domain specific companies which hire students from specific domains.
The minimum CGPA a students needs to be eligible for placements is 6 out of 10 (60 percent).
If a students maintains a CGPA of 6 then he will surely get placed and will even get chances to get placed in a good company with a good profile.
But I would suggest don't hang upon this line and maintain a CGPA of atleast 7 which would also be good if you want to pursue higher studies.(and also some companies demand a CGPA of 7).
