Post Graduate Diploma in Management: This is 2 year programme approved by AICTE designed for aspirants looking for a mid-career change or fresh graduates interested in entrepreneurship. The eligibility criteria is that you should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% from any recognised Institution. Factors like subject background, extra curricular activities, awards and recognition also plays a role. You should have a valid score in CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT, GRE or Myra Entrance Test. They prefer students with atleast 2 years of work experience and fresh graduates are also considered. A statement of purpose showcasing your evidence of leadership, professional promise, career goals, personality and reasons for pursuing higher education in not exceeding 2000 words should be written and sent it across along with the application form. There is a point system for every achievement per se. If your Accademic track is above 90%, you score 10 points between 85%-90% its 8 points, 80% -85% its 6 points, 75%-80% its 4points 70%-75% its 2 points and 60%-70% its 1 point. If your Statement of Purpose Essay is great, then you get 10 points, for very good its 8 points, good its 6 points, faur is 4 points and not bad is 1 point. You are also graded acording to your scores in the entrance examination. If you have been excellent in your Interview, you get 10 points, very good is 8 points, Good is 6 points and Fair is 4 points. Global MBA: This is an Indo-Canadian collobarative Global MBA in association with Rowe School of Businesd at Dalhousie University, Canada. The first year will be in India and the second year will be in Canada. This is a full time 2 year MBA programme. You are required to have 4 years Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognised Institution with a minimum of 50%. And again factors like subject background, extra curricular activities, awards abd recognitions play a role. You should have a balanced score in GMAT or GRE. They prefer students with atleast 2 years of work experience and fresh graduates are also considered. A statement of purpose showcasing your evidence of leadership, professional promise, career goals, personality and reasons for pursuing higher education in not exceeding 2000 words should be written and sent it across along with the application form. The point system is same here as well. Ph.D: This is a program of the University of Mysore and can be done either Part time or Full time. MYRA offers Ph.D in Management sciences, Information Systems & Management, Statistics and Development Studies. MYRA has a fellowship of Rs.50,000 per month for full time candidates. The Ph.D applicants will have to take an entrance examination.
