Hello Aspirant,
Mostly you will be placed in IITs and other companies such as oil refinery.But around 10 to 15% students ofchemical engineeringonly get placed in core companies and rest of the students get placed in the mass recruiter IT companies like TCS, Accenture,etc. They provide average salary about 3 lakh per annum.
Now different universities have different placement cell records. So it depends from which University are you from.

as it is officially mentioned that the placement is about 85% in ramaiah institute of technology Bangalore this percentage is for overall
