what about psychology student career opportunities in india .. and also what is the field demand for it.. is study psychology worth it .. ?

It's interesting that you have a keen interest toward psychology because it is a fast growing field. And there are loads of opportunities for a psychology student. They can work in government hospital, private healthcare organisations, NGOs, serve in military field as psychiatrist, NGOs, and many more. People in India, need students like you to help them go through tough times. And the demand is high since the pandemic because people are staying at home 24*7 with minimum face to face contact. Not even a hug. So people need psychology specialists.
First you get your degree and then you have the whole world to help out mentally and emotionally.

1) Bethune College, Kolkata
2) Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi, Delhi.
3) Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Delhi
4) IIT Kanpur, but you have to give GATE exam for getting into IIT Kanpur.
Depends on the profession you are choosing after completing a course on Psychology.
1) Psychiatrist:- Average Earning is Rs. 4.8 LPA in the beginning.
2) Neuropsychologist- Average Earning is Rs. 5.00 LPA in the beginning.
3) School Counsellor:- Average Earning is Rs. 2.98 LPA in the beginning.
4) Forensic Psychologist:- Average Earning is Rs. 4.06 LPA in the beginning.
5) Education Psychologist:- Average Earning is Rs. 7.78 LPA in the beginning.
So everything depends on the hard work you pour in to make yourself a renowned person in the field of psychology. After that there is no going back, you can taste success and respect at every point of your life.
