what about the cusat engineering college kuttanad
Hello Aspirant...
Within four years of its inception, Cochin University College of Engineering Kuttanad offered six undergraduate (B.Tech) engineering programmes (Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering) as well as a postgraduate programme (Master of Computer Applications (MCA). It began as a University own department outside of its main campus on October 21, 1999, under the administration of the CUSAT, in a lovely piece of land in Pulincunnu, Alappuzha district.
The College began its academic activities in rented buildings belonging to the St. Mary's ITC, Pulincunnu, and the St. Joseph's HSS, Pulincunnu, which were formally inaugurated on October 25, 1999 in the presence of Syndicate members including Dr. K C Joseph, the then MLA of Kuttanad and the visionary behind it, and Sri. James K. J., the Special Officer of CUCEK.
Kuttanad is surrounded by various bodies of water, such as lakes and rivers, and has a limited terrestrial transit network. In the past, it was unable to provide much in the way of education, including schools.
