IIM Bangalore is ranked 2nd in MBA. It can provide the candidate a median package upto Rs.22 lakhs in MBA. MBA here is a two year course and entrance is through CAT. The eligibility criteria is a 50% in Bachelors from a recognised University.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer-based admission test for graduate management. The test scores the applicant on the basis of Quantitative Accuracy (QA), Verbal Ability (VA) and Reading Comprehension (RC), Data Interpretation (DI) and Logical Reasoning (LR). The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have started this exam and are using the test to select students for their business administration programs. The test is carried out every year by one of the IIMs on the basis of a rotation policy.
