If you want to be a professor of Mathematics in GOvernment and Private colleges then you need to at least secure a MSc degree from reputed university or a PhD. If you want to be a professor in Government/Private University then you need to have a PhD and you must be a Post Doctoral Fellow.

So you need to do BSc in Mathematics then a MSc in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics  then you have to qualify for the NET JRF/ TIFR-GS/JEST for the PhD program. After you done PhD you can apply for colleges and Universities but most universities want to have Post Doctoral fellows so should keep in mind if possible go for it.

You must keep your enthusiasm up. As you are interested in Mathematics, Indian Statistical Institute offers B.Math & M.Math Program which can be really helpful to go for the research and for that you have to apply for the entrances conducted by the institute itself. After your BSc you can also appear for IIT JAM for Integrated PhD/MSc programs as well. Also you can apply for TIFR-GS after BSc for the Integrated PhD program in Mathematics. TIFR is one of the best research institute in India for Mathematical Sciences. Apart from that there are also great state universities as well as central universities. So you have to be highly enthusiastic about Mathematics and if you have genuine interest to be a researcher then this career path will be the best suit for you.
