hello there!
The concept around liberal arts education in India limits one to believe that the career that follows will be as a social worker. Overseas, liberal arts is just like any other professional stream of academics that leads to careers across industries and sectors. In my limited knowledge, a liberal arts candidate is trained on critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, innovation and such other skills. So, the career options can be diverse and infinite because every job requires these skills.
To answer specifically, students from liberal arts background can work with think tanks, government and non-government organisations, consulting agencies, advertising and PR agencies, publishing houses, hospitality, healthcare and more. For instance, an NGO like Teach For India also hires managers from liberal arts background. There is no limit to what kind of jobs can be offered but doing the course from a good university that can offer you enough exposure makes the difference.
i hope this helps
goodluck!
