what are add-on and plugins in computer ? please answer

As the name clearly suggest add on is the facility of extending extra options in our program user interface. It helps to expand the features of our programs we are working on. The example of add ons can be sound cards, graphic cards and many more.

Plugins are the add on which help one to introduce features into our program which was initially not designed to perform. It helps in enhancing the interface without creating much difference in the user interface.
