Deemed medical colleges have their own universities, not affiliated to any state university.
Deemed colleges conducted their own entrance exams until NEET 2016,after which admissions are conducted via NEET only.
The eligibility criteria for is to have a NEET qualifying score in respective NEET exam. This score changes year to year but is usually low enough and any NEET qualifier can easily gain admission in deemed universities.
It is 50th percentile for general category candidates and 40th percentile for reserved category candidates.
Even 50th percentile doesn't exceed 200 marks in NEET.
For OBC, 40th percentile ranged from 678-118 marks in NEET 2017.
Even at this score, one is eligible for admission in deemed universities and you can safely gain admission with 300 or so marks.
Good luck.
