Hello Mitali, I'm glad to hear you have completed your graduation at the age of 19. Talking about govt. exam, for exam in any banking sector/ SSC minimum age required is 20 years and for UPSC civil service exam (IAS/ IPS/ IFS/ IRS etc) for State or national minimum age required is 21 years.
But you can apply Postal department and railways, as minimum age demanded by them is 18 years...
So in my opinion, If you want you can give Postal department and railways exam, also start preparation for banking & UPSC so that by the time you reach 21... you will be more confident about exam & chance to clear will be more...
For further assistance be free to contact... All the best
Hi Mitali,
I will highly recommend you to complete your graduation first.
Because to get good government jobs or to become a Government Officer you need to be graduate.
All the Best!!!
Hi Mitali,
Are you a graduate? Most Government jobs and the best-paying ones require graduation as the minimum qualification. There was a time when a 12th class would be enough for some government jobs at a basic level, but not anymore. You can sit for banks, RRB, UPSC and other government jobs post the completion of your degree. If you wanna go through some vacancies, you can check at SarkariJobs. They update as per vacancy.
Good luck!
