NEET 2018 will be conducted by CBSE on May 10, 2018. This national level entrance exam is the key to getting into several medical and dental colleges spread across the country. NEET has its own reservation policy where some seats are reserved for certain categories. There is also an All India Quota where 15% of the seats will be filled through central counselling conducted by MCC while the remaining 85% of the seats will be filled through state counselling for which candidates will have to contact their respective state counselling authorities.

NEET 2017 Reservation of Seats: Admission into the 15% All India Quota seats of Government medical and dental institutes of the country will be offered considering the reservation of seats in NEET 2017. The National level medical entrance examination has been conducted on May 7, 2017. 15% of the seats in All India quota is reserved for the Scheduled Caste and 27% seats for the OBC category candidates. Under the AIQ, there is a total number of 3200 MBBS and BDS seats.

For the 15% All India Quota seats in Government colleges, the reservation of seats is as follows:
-
15% of the total seats offered are reserved for SC candidates
-
7.5% of the total seats offered are reserved for ST candidates
-
27% of the total seats offered are reserved for non-creamly layer OBC candidates
There is a horizontal reservation of 3% applicable across the above mentioned seats for Physically Handicapped candidates (PH I and PH II).
