Dear Rahul
Until the final reporting, you will not be required to produce any hard copies of the documents in IIT JAM or CCMN (NIT, etc.). During reporting to the selected institution only you will need to take the documents.
At the time of registering for the counselling, you will need to upload the required documents with online application.
"No hard copies of documents are to be sent to the Organizing Institute. The documents (if applicable) are to be uploaded to the online application website only." says JAM Admission Highlights. Similar will be the case for CCMN.
Following documents, in PDF form, will need to be uploaded for JAM registration and CCMN as well, at the time of counselling registration:
A. Mandatory Documents for All: i. Class 10 Certificate ii. Class 12 Mark sheet iii. Mark sheets of all semesters/ years of Class 12
B. Document for General Category: i. Nationality Certificate: Birth Certificate or Voter ID or First page of Passport or School Transfer Certificate (TC) showing nationality or Nationality Certificate issued by the authorized government agency or Aadhar Card. (Please note that any other documents, Ration Card, Driving License, College/ Institute/ School ID, Bank Passbook, PAN Card, Mark sheets are not considered as Nationality Certificate).
C. Other Documents (if applicable): i. Category Certificate for OBC(NCL), SC and ST Applicants ii. PwD Certificate for PwD Applicants
The Applicants who will be offered a seat (or upgraded to higher choice of preference) should report to the Admitting Institutes along with the documents required by the Admitting Institute (basically the ones uploaded during registration) based on their offer letter or provisional admission letter.
Hope it answers.
All the best!
