Hi Ketaki, the answer to your question depends on which program you're going to join.

For 2-year, post graduate program in management or commonly referred as MBA - the fees for latest 2019 -21 batch was INR 23 Lacs. Since they have already raised it by 1 Lac from what they charged 2018 - 20 batch; it's not expected that they will again raise it for the next batch. But, then again, you never be so sure.

For the 1-year full time executive program (MBA-PGPX), the fees are INR 28 Lacs. The applicants usually join PGPX program are having quite a few years of work experience and it is expected from them to have a minimum decent business acumen.

The kind of exposure you'll get (not sure if you're fresher or having work experience) in these two programs are different and so is the price. But in case you're planning to join the PGPX program, cross verify the requirements beforehand on their website.

The fees they charge covers the straightforward academic costs like tution fees, accomodation and food expenses, course materials, library etc. However, prices which depends on individual like laundry, sports/gym subscription are not covered in this amount. That's pretty much same across all IIMs.

Additionally you'll have to bear the cost for International Immersion Program (IIP) in PGPX program.

There are quite a few banks (e.g., SBI / CBI / Union / Indian etc.) who has a special scheme and provide educational loan at a subsidised interest rate to applicants (one who cleared the entrance). Check for the requirements beforehand. For some bank, co-borrower / guarantor is necessary.

The programme fees for PGPX is 28,00,000 INR. This fees includes tution fees, books, course material, accomodation, food charges, and other service facilities such as library, computing, Networking charges, etc. This fees does not include Internation Imeersion Programme and other bills such as Electricity, Telephone, laundry, etc. IIM Ahmedabad also provides financial assistance and scholarships to eligible Candiidates.
