what are job oriented courses after BSc Chemistry?
Hello Aspirant,
Most of the industries nowadays use the chemicals in everything directly or indirectly like in food products, pharmaceuticals, electronic products or in construction. This creates opportunities for graduates, since they have the in-depth knowledge about various chemicals, compositions and their properties. The government laboratories, universities or colleges and the industries, mainly chemical and pharmaceutical, are the three major sectors which recruit the chemistry graduates.
For the entry level jobs in these fields, graduates need at least a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. But for the senior positions like in research, they need PhD in the same. so if you want better opportunities then I would suggest you to go for higher Degree programme.
Some of the fields you can go into :
Analytical Chemist
Bio-medical Chemist
Chemical Engineering Associate
Industrial Research Scientist
Lab Chemist
Good Luck!
