Nice question. As per the trend that is going in the market, many companies have started their digital and analytics division. I was a student placement Coordinator at NMIMS Mumbai this year, we have hosted Accenture, Infosys, L&T, Titan etc who have opened their Analytics profiles and are hiring in huge numbers. Even in engineering colleges the most heard of company TCS is hiring for its new analytics vertical.
Even from academics point of view, IITs have started with a new course for BigData,AI and Machine learning. This is the same trend which began in the 1990's when CSE was being introduced as a new course in engineering.
So for atleast next 5 years this boom is not going to gk down. The fields in demand would be Data Science, Analytics, so there is your answer. Just for extra information, these domains are being paid very very high.
