what are miscells? give an example of Michelle's system.
Hello!
Micelles are associated colloids which arrange in radial manner. They behave as normal strong electrolyte at low concentration but behave as colloidal particles at higher concentration. Micelles may contain as many as 100 molecules or more. For example, soap on dissolving in water, gives sodium and stearate ions. The stearate ions associate to form ionic micelles of colloidal size. Examples of miceller system. The colloidal size aggregates of soap or detergent molecules formed in a concentrated solution are referred to as micelles.
Thankyou!
Hope it helps!
