The headquarters of National Council for teacher education is in New Delhi and its chairperson is Vineet Joshi.

Where is University Grants Commission is a body set up by department of Higher Education which is under ministry of education government of India. Its headquarters are also in New Delhi. It is incharged of coordination determination and maintenance of standards of Higher Education.
