Hi Vimala,

St John's Medical College holds a total number of 150 seats. The seats are filled up in the following ways,

30 for All India Open Quota

10 seats under Institutional staff quota

108 seats under community quota (Roman Catholics)

1 seat for Govt. Of India nominee

and 1 seat for Differntly abled.

Of this, 33% is alloted to Karnataka State domicile candidates. Which means about 50 seats are reserved for the state. And so, you can apply under community quota too. For further information, please contact the institute or check their official website and verify.

All The Best.
