Hi, I tried to find this on Google, but couldn’t get much data about the numbers of MBA students and their job placements. But I think the job market out there is not very responsive for MBA graduates.

Companies are giving way more preference to PGDM students from top PGDM colleges like Asia-Pacific Institute of Management. Last year, an ASSOCHAM study found that only 7% of MBA graduates from Indian business schools, excluding those from the top 20 colleges, find a job straight after completing their programme. But you don’t really need to lose your heart. Just make sure you choose a great b-school and perform your best. IIMs are the best places for management programmes. Actually, there's no exact number of students. It totally depends on the institute you are pursuing MBA from, results, skills, placements, companies and other factors. So, it is unpredictable. But if you want a good job then you should go for the top institute for management studies.
